As part of the PERSONALDOCS program, each person receives an annual
comprehensive physical exam which focuses on each person's health goals.
Extensive laboratory tests, an EKG and a chest x-ray annually are
among the many preventive tests patients get in the program. The 90
minute physical, preventive test and wellness follow-up visit, valued at
over $1,000, are part of enrolling in the program and are not submitted
to a patient's insurance.
A large percentage of medical insurance companies do not cover
preventive services so this program offers patients a choice to seek a
medical philosophy focusing on "wellness" not "sickness." Truly there is
"value in prevention" and PERSONALDOCS physicians provide that focus.
Due to the physicians having less patients in their practices, they can
provide unrushed thirty minute visits for all subsequent medical office
visits throughout the year and these visits are submitted to a patient's
medical insurance. We provide a warm atmosphere and amenities including
drinks and food to help make each person feel welcome at all times.
Patients have our personal pager number and are welcome to call us about
any health concerns. Waiting to see the doctor does not exist in our
practice where we recognize the value of every one's personal time and
don't want to waste it.
Regular newsletters about health related topics are sent in the mail and
speaker programs are arranged through out the year at the office to
supplement people's knowledge about certain health related topics.
Weight management and proper nutrition and overall healthy living are
emphasized among other topics in these programs.
Our practice offers patients a real choice to focus on their health, a
topic that is often lost in the rapid pace of each person's life. We
help you put that focus back on you and your health and well-being, the
time is now to think about your health and your future health
maintenance.
Our PERSONALDOCS program also provides state of the art technology with each
patient receiving a wallet-size CD of his or her comprehensive physical
and wellness plan. This will assist our patients if out of town and
needing medical attention to have all their medical history at their
finger tips. Likewise, we are available for medical questions or to
discuss health related articles via email.
Our support staff assists our patients in making appointments for tests
and specialists visits. We follow up on these visits and inform you of
results in a timely manner. During your office visit, prescriptions will
be called into your preferred pharmacy so you can pick them up without
having to wait.
